I have training in CBT and am trained in EMDR working with people who have experienced a range of traumas.In addition I teach Mindfulness and trained with the Centre for Mindfulness at the University of Bangor.

Supervision

I have worked as a supervisor of counsellors and other professionals for many years including the Genetics Counsellors and Sexual Health Advisors at the local district hospital. I supervise both groups and individuals.

Experience

I have many years experience of working in the health service, social services and the voluntary sector. I taught Research Methods on the MSc in counselling at Bristol University. I currently manage a small counselling service for Doctors and Connexions staff and am a counsellor in General Practice.

Training

I have many years experience of working with health professionals on a number of training projects funded by the Department of Health. I facilitate a range of groups and workshops including interpersonal skills, team building and stress management.
